Grading Criteria
Where possible every record is play tested. At Lurch Records we pride ourselves on honest grading. Grading is notoriously subjective. We try to be fair, open and honest about the quality of our records. Please feel free to get in touch to discuss grading
Mint
Perfect in every way. Never played, often still sealed.
Near Mint
Nearly perfect. A record that has been played but shows no signs of wear. No sleeve scuffs or marks.
Very Good Plus
Shows some signs of play but will still play perfectly with only light surface noise. A very slight loss of original sheen.
Very Good
Some light scratches and marks. Will play through with some surface noise. Still a enjoyable listening experience.
Good Plus
Heavily played with significant surface noise throughout. Only for those seeking a specific title regardless of condition.
Good
Very heavily played. Audio may be interrupted. Suitable as a display or filler copy only.
